Making a rag doll just got easier! This 36 page e-book contains detailed, step by step instructions and lots of full color pictures that will help you create a one of a kind rag doll from materials that are easy to obtain. I have made hundreds of dolls and am ready to share some of my tips and secrets so you can easily make a doll you will treasure. .
The Honeydotz Rag Doll Pattern walks you through each and every step and secret of making and assembling a rag doll….sewing the legs out of leftover knit material, assembling your doll, painting her face, and a simple sewn on yarn wig. Also included are instructions for a simple halter style dress! This pattern produces a simplified version of the Honeydotz Rag Doll and is suitable for someone with intermediate sewing skills as there are many steps to making a dimensional project
Your finished Honeydotz Rag Doll will measure between 14 and 16 inches tall and can wear many clothes designed for 10-12 inch sized Waldorf style dolls available on Etsy as well as the Lil Sally Dress Pattern by Lil Blue Boo. This pattern was specifically written to use with knit fabrics, so the size will vary a bit depending on the knits you use, and your doll will be extra soft and cuddly! The yarn wig is not a typical style for rag doll hair and is so much fun to play with as it can be styled in different ways. It is so much fun to select each detail that will make your doll unique!
